MR HAPPINESS (LIGHTSTYLE CREATIONS)

This story about Mr Happiness started a few months ago with finding a lovely card at Coffee Bru.
I checked the site and found out about two lovely ladies from Lightstyle Creations. They wrote a book together and even two more books are coming up in the new year.
They want to contribute to a lighter lifestyle for everyone.
Next to the books, they also organise several workshops and meditation nights (Cirkle of Light).
When I went to one of those meditation nights, we talked afterwards and the idea of making a stamp of Mr Happiness came up.
I was so pleased to make this happy little fellow for them!
They even wrote a piece about me and the stamp on their blog: http://lichterleven.wordpress.com/2013/11/20/salut-stefanie/

And what a way to start the new year: I'm going to their workshop on the 9th of January at Beter & Leuk. It's about living your dreams in 2014. I certainly have a couple of dreams left to be lived. Would be nice if I could make a start with some of them somehow in 2014...Keep u posted :>)

For now, Have a Very Happy & Healthy New Year!

SALUT BRUCE

Baby boy Bruce is the first son of a friend of mine. He was born by the end of October in London. Living there for quite a few years now, it was extra cool and honourable to design the birth announcement card for my friends and their baby.
The distance was no challenge at all, What's App appeared to be very useful!
We had fun sending pics and sketches of ideas to each other. Although we didn't know whether it was a boy or a girl we knew all other things.
They loved a Little Fox at the frontside. A 'born' stamp on the envelopes in LDN style finished it off.
We took extra heavy aquarel paper (300gr) for the cards and it turned out lovely.
My printer was less amused with this ;>)
And of course I couldn't resist, I had to stamp some baby items too, as a gift to Bruce.
All the luck in the world to you Charlie, Daan & Bruce!

NL
Handig he?
We namen extra zware kwaliteit aquarelpapier (300 grams), supermooi.

makkelijker in twee kleuren stempelen.

Hydrofieldoek in stijl

En de romper

CO PRODUCTION WITH ANNA

My first co production with my daughter is a fact!
A birthday invitation card for my daughters third birthday.
AnnA did the drawing and I made a stamp out of it. She was very sure it had to be cat.
Then we did the stamping together (of course AnnA picked the colours) and all cards were personally signed by AnnA herself.
Last but very important step: bringing the cards to the postbox.
We had lots of fun and were both very proud.
She was amazed when she saw her invitation back at some houses. Hey mummy look, my card! :>)

For the big day itself I made a yummie fluffy banoffee pie, a cheesecake, little pink cakes and very funny little indians. (I love Pinterest!)

The cat, drawn by AnnA. I was quite amazed...
The Stamps

Carefully collecting cards for a photo.

The Result

Last but not least, signing by AnnA

Little Indians, so easy and cute hey?

STEMPEL WINNEN?

Mooie rijm verzinnen!

ASTRID ORIGINALS

My dear friend Astrid sews gorgeous things.
This is her latest dress made for Anna (and now Anna's favourite): a polka dot dress on the one side and flowers on the other.

Lately Astrid made some real cool fluffy friends that are shown on this page.
I love the fact that these little fellows are completely recycled. She uses left over fabrics and used clothing.
Astrid asked me to design a little logostamp for her, that she can use on her projects.
AO stands for Astrid Originals and the hare has got something to do with her last name :>)

Don't you think that a little friend like this makes a perfect gift for a new born baby?
