Three presents this week for three different Babies...
So I had some work to do :>)
I made some packages, with a stamped towel, notebook and a little cookbook for Babyfood.
Can't start early enough with good Taste right?
For Julius I specially made a Stamp of a Dove, since that is one of his surnames in Brazilian, how cool is that!

Drie cadeaupakketjes voor drie verschillende baby's deze week...dus ik kon aan de bak! :>)
Heb een hydrofyldoek bestempeld (daar kun je noooit genoeg van hebben), met een klein notebookje en een kookboekje met lekkere recepten voor Baby's. Kunnen ze vast een goede smaak ontwikkelen.
Voor Baby Julius was er nog een extraatje, want één van zijn coole achternamen is Duif (in het Braziliaans) en daar kon ik wel wat mee.

What a lovely garden my friend Nora has...it was her birthday last week and because see grows her own v e g g i e s I thought it would be fun to make some personal tags to show that the veggie is from her garden...
It reminded me though that it really is about time that we pimp our own humble garden...

Wat een geweldige (moes)tuin heeft mijn vriendin Nora! Vorige week vierde ze haar verjaardag en ik vond het wel toepasselijk om wat labeltags te maken die ze aan haar eigen geteelde groenten en fruit kan hangen. Toen ik naar mijn eigen bescheiden tuin keek besefte ik dat die hoognodig aan een opknapbeurt toe is...

Last year I gave my friend a birthday present: a cook book called Homemade from Yvette van Boven, and she was (and is) very enthusiastic about it.
And recently...I got the book myself! It really is a fantastic book, very yummy not too difficult recipes and beautifully illustrations.
This morning I made scones and rasberry marmelade from the book and it was all ready within half an hour...Added some clotted cream and picked some fresh flowers (ah well Steph did that actually) and tadaaa, that was my H a p p y M u M ' s D a y gift to my lovely mum.
And we helped her a little with eating them all up :-)

Vorig jaar gaf ik het kookboek Homemade van Yvette van Boven aan mijn vriendin en ze maakt er heerlijke dingen uit. En...onlangs ontving ik zelf het boek, YeaH!
Het is echt een fantastisch boek, met lekkere niet al te moeilijke recepten en geweldige illustraties.
Wow.
Vanmorgen maakte ik uit het boek scones en frambozenjam. Was gewoon binnen een half uur klaar!
Wat clotted cream erbij gemaakt, verse f l u i t e k r u i d j e s geplukt (of eigenlijk dat heeft Steph met AnnA voor mij gedaan) en tadaaa, mijn H a p p y M u M ' s D a y gift voor mijn lieve moeder was klaar.
Vanmiddag langsgebracht en haar meegeholpen de lekkernijen op te eten. (M) Jam!
Het boek is een echte aanrader.
Kan niet wachten de andere recepten uit te proberen.

This week I made a stamp for my friend Astrid.
She's always been enthusiastic about my cards and stuff, so it is extra nice to make one for her!
I made a small stamp with her name and a little face of a hare.
Since it is her birthday today I thought it would be nice to post it today: Happy Astrid Day!

Deze week geen kaart maar een stempel die ik voor vriendin Astrid heb gemaakt.
Vond het leuk een voor haar te maken, want ze is altijd superenthousiast over de dingen die ik maak.
Het is een kleine naamstempel geworden met een hazenkoppie.
Ze heeft haar stempel al gehad maar omdat ze vandaag jarig is leuk om vandaag te posten.

Normally I don't get out of bed that early when I don't have to, but I decided to go treasure hunting on the free market on Queensday in Amsterdam.

I hit the Apollolaan at 07.30 in the morning and it was already filled with people...and got really crowded by the time that I left with two fully filled bags and a small wooden bike for my little AnnA.
Can't wait till next year!

Pwoah! Waarom zou je op een vrije dag vroeg opstaan als het niet hoeft? Toch deed ik het op Koninginnedag om op jacht te gaan naar bijzondere dingen en boeken. Vond dat ik er best vroeg was, zo rond 07.30 uur op de Apollolaan, maar ik was zeker niet de eerste. Tegen de tijd dat ik tevreden volgeladen wegfietste was het inmidddels loeidruk.
Het is dus écht de moeite waard om er vroeg te zijn.
En...je hebt daarna nog wat aan je dag! :-)
Volgend jaar weer!
