In January I had the honour to make a birth announcement card for beautiful babygirl Rifka.
A card with lovely symbols.
Rifka is welcomed by her sister Robin (bird), sister Tammy wants to take care of her (heart), and big brother Bodhi wants to protect her (tipi tent in Rifka's hand).

At the back of the card, the sun is happily shining, with her name and birth date in it.
As Rifka means to bind, we made a garland of little hearts, 6 people connected. Wow. Rifka what a beautiful start of your life, I wish you and your lovely family all the luck & love!

Eind januari werd Rifka geboren en mocht ik haar kaartje maken. Een prachtig kloppend kaartje, met mooie symbolen. Rifka wordt verwelkomd door haar grote zussen en broer. Robin is een roodborstje, Tammy wil graag voor haar zusje zorgen, daarom een hartje en broer Bodhi wil haar graag beschermen. Dat werd symbolisch een wigwammetje in haar hand.
Op de achterzijde een vrolijke zon met haar naam en geboortedatum erin en onderaan een hartjesslinger. Rifka betekent letterlijk 'verbinden' en daarom kozen we voor een slinger bestaande uit zes harten, met elkaar verbonden...wow!
Wat een prachtige start van jouw leven, Rifka: ik wens jou en je lieve familie heel veel geluk en liefde toe!
